A Mini Creative Story: Different Path beanie
A few weeks ago I launched my first new pattern of the year: Path Cowl and I’d already drafted up a collection of patterns based on it for release throughout the year. But then my schedule got turned on its head by some misbehaving yarn (you can read about that here) and my plans had to go down a different path. And as a small business owner, pivoting is a skill you have to learn to embrace!
And so I have promoted one of my March patterns to fill the gap. And in choosing which one it seemed most appropriate that this design should be the first of the complementary patterns to my Path Cowl.
Therefore, today, I am launching my Different Path beanie which also happens to be my 50th pattern (but more about that next week!)
Just like my Path Cowl this beautifully textured pattern is deceptively simple to knit. There is a subtle difference between the two patterns, but that difference leads to a rather scrumptious crown!
The beanie has a slouchy fit, looks great from the brim to crown and whilst it perfectly complements my Path Cowl, it is certainly compliment worthy too!
And so, dear readers, to celebrate the launch of Different Path I am offering you an exclusive 35% off the pattern price in both my Ravelry and Payhip stores until February 20th when you enter code DPS35
I hope you’ve enjoyed this little insight, and obviously the pattern, and I hope you stay cosy and dry (it has to stop raining soon doesn’t it, my UK chums?). And until next time, happy knitting!
